Apple Pie Ol’ Fashioned Recipe From Hard Rock Hotel’s Velvet Bar

​Last holiday season Universal put together two of our favorite things, apple pie and an old-fashioned. The folks over at Velvet Bar in Universal’s Hard Rock Hotel shared with us the recipe to help bring a piece of cheer home for the holidays.

Here's what you'll need:

2 oz. Apple Pie Corn Whiskey
½ teaspoon of sugar
Orange slice
Dirty cherry
3 dashes of bitters
Cinnamon stick
Fresh apple slice

Here's what to do with all your fancy  ingredients

1. Muddle together the sugar, cherry, orange slice, and bitters.
2. Add whiskey and gently stir to combine.
3. Strain over a large ice cube.
4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and apple slice.
